Feature Release とは？

Feature Release とは、Deep Security の新機能をいち早くご利用いただくためのリリース形態です。
Feature Release で実装された新機能は、通常モジュールの次期メジャーバージョンにも実装されます。

＜例＞
Deep Security 11.1(Feature Release)で実装された新機能は、Deep Security 12.0で実装されます。そのため、Deep Security 11.0 U* といったUpdateモジュールには含まれません。

通常のモジュールとFeature Releaseは何が違うの？

通常のモジュールとFeature Releaseの違いは以下2点です。

• Feature ReleaseにはPatchやUpdate、Hotfixのリリースを行いません。このため、軽微な不具合などの修正は、次期 Feature Release あるいは通常モジュールのメジャーバージョンアップにて対応いたします。

  ※システムクラッシュなどの重大な問題については、Feature Releaseに対しても修正モジュールの提供を行います。

• Feature Release のサポート期間は、次期メジャーバージョンの公開後半年までとなります。このため、次期バージョンの公開後には、速やかにアップグレードいただく必要があります。

Deep Security Feature Releaseのサポート終了日（EOS）について
