The previous reported issue Detection Exceptions are Not Carried Over When Upgrading from Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) Version 5.1 to Version 5.5, has been resolved and an updated firmware upgrade package (EN) is now available on the Download Center.

Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) version 5.5 supports upgrading from DDI version 5.0 and above.

For users who plan to migrate DDI to version 5.5, Trend Micro recommends that you back up all DDI configurations before migration.

  • The upgrade package (.tar) for migration can be downloaded using this link.
  • For DDI versions earlier than version 5.0, performing a fresh installation is still required.
