"Failed to set timezone: Incorrect function" log appears multiple times in Deep Security

Summary

Without any error messages in Deep Security Manager (DSM) console, you may notice the following error messages in the server's ds_agent-err.log:

Below are the recommendations to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify the timezone set for the user corresponds to the appropriate geographical and system timezone. On the DSM console, click the arrow on the right side of the username to check the timezone settings.
  2. Increase the heap memory for the java application.
  3. Make sure to have the latest version of Deep Security Manager and Deep Security Agents. See the list of Deep Security Software.
