Summary
Check the client-server communication using clndiag tool.
This tool will check the connection by running Telnet, Ping and CGI communication used by the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) server and agent. The tool will help you diagnose if the server and client can communicate properly through ports and ping using the following:
  • Hostname
  • Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)
  • IP address

To use the clndiag tool:

For any errors encountered running the diagnostic test, refer to Troubleshooting Guide for Offline/Disconnected/Missing in Web Console.

  1. Go to ..\Trend Micro\Security Agent directory.
  2. Double-click ClnDiag.exe. The Worry-Free Business Security Communication Diagnostic Tool window opens.
  3. Click Check Client-Server Communications.

    A successful connection shows "OK" under Test Results section.

  4. Click Save Settings and Restart the Agent, then wait for the Trend Micro services to be restarted.
