This article provides the steps on how you can check if the Thumbprint of a certificate is the same on the OfficeScan (OSCE) client and server.
On the OSCE client/server that has the mismatch cert log, do the following:
On the OSCE client:
- Copy the OfcNTCer.dat to another folder and rename it as OfcNTCer.cer.
- Double-click on it then go to the Details tab.

Check the Thumbprint.
On the OSCE server:
- Open a command line and run: MMC.
- Click File > Add or Remove Snap-ins.
- Select Certificates > Add > Computer Account > Next > Local Computer > Finish > OK.
- Select Console Root > Certificates (Local Computer) > OfficeScan NT > Certificates.
- Double-click the OfficeScan Server NTSG then to the Details tab.

Check the Thumbprint.
The Thumbprint of the client and the server should be the same.
