Upon investigation, the systemconfiguration.xml under ‘..Control Manager\’ folder is corrupted with only 0kb in size.
To fix the issue:
Stop the following TMCM services:
- Trend Micro Control Manager
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- World Wide Web Publishing Service
Create a backup of the following files:
- ..Control Manager\SystemConfiguration.xml
- ..Control Manager\WebUI\WebApp\App_Data\SystemConfiguration.xml
- Copy the SystemConfiguration.xml and from ..Control Manager\WebUI\WebApp\App_Data\ folder and replace the one on ..Control Manager\ folder.
- Restart the services from step 1.
- Check the TMCM console again.
