For OS X 10.7 and later, a Mobile Device Management (MDM) profile will be installed. This profile allows JAMF Pro administrators to remotely configure settings on the Mac. Basic security settings will be set during enrollment to ensure compliance with UNL policies. Please see UNL Security Policies for more information.
Most customers use MDM software to configure and deploy Administrative Task (required) which allows management of multiple macOS devices such as:
- Manually installing/deploying Apex One (Mac) agent/s
- Manually clicking the "Allow" button on General, new third-party program installed
- Manually adding iCoreService to Full Disk Access on Security & Privacy
Apex One (Mac) agents running build 3.5.3718 and Mac OS Big Sur or later would require the manual steps in order to allow Apex One (Mac) agent services to run properly. Automating the permissions across several Mac machines would require an MDM Solution such as JAMF to simplify the task and management of the machines.
If the manual procedures does not work, you can contact Trend Micro Technical Support for assistance to assess the current status of the machines. As the JAMF configuration is different for every environment, it is highly recommended to verify the configuration with JAMF support to resolve issues related to the profile deployment.
