Change default port of Deep Security Manager (DSM) created via Azure BYOL

Summary

By default, when you spin a DSM on Azure Marketplace, the default port of DSM URL will be 443, but you can change it during setup. However, once the DSM is created, you can no longer change it in the Azure portal even if you allow Inbound port using NSG (Network Security Group).

Follow these steps:

 
Make sure to add new NSG policy to allow Inbound port 4119 to DSM.
 
  1. SSH to the target DSM and confirm the ports used for DSM URL.

  2. Once confirmed, run the DSM command below to change the port to the classic on-prem DSM port which is 4119.

  3. Confirm that the change took effect.
