Enabling this feature significantly improves file copy performance, but may introduce a slight security risk as you are postponing a file scan operation. Apply the Apex One's Best Practice Guide for Malware Protection after enabling this feature.
 

To enable Deffered Scanning:

  1. Log on to the Apex One Web Console.
  2. Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings > Security Settings.
  3. Under Scan Settings, tick the Enable deferred scanning on file operations option.

  4. Click Save.
