Manage Agent Tree options in Apex One is disabled or greyed-out

This article will help you manage domains and the agents if the following options are greyed-out or disabled on the Apex One management console.

  • Add a domain
  • Delete a domain or agent
  • Rename a domain
  • Move a single agent to another domain

To fix the issue, do the following:

  1. Log on to the Apex One Web Console.
  2. Go to Agents > Agent Grouping.
  3. Tick Automatically group new Security Agents using, and specify the agent grouping method.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Go to Agents > Agent Management.
  6. You may now perform the following options:
    • Add a domain

      Add Domain

    • Remove a domain or agent

      Remove a domain/agent

    • Rename a domain

      Rename a domain

    • Move a single agent to another domain

      Move an agent
