This article guides you on how you can block a particular domain or email address from sending mail to your domain.

  1. Log on to the Trend Micro Email Security management console.
  2. Go to Inbound Protection > Connection Filtering > Sender Filter > Blocked Senders.

  3. Click the Add button and specific email address or the entire domain.

    • *@example.com
    • *@server.example.com
    • *@*.example.com

    • *@* .com
    • name@*.example.com

  1. Log on to the Trend Micro Email Security management console.
  2. Go to Inbound Protection > Content Filtering.
  3. Click Add.

  4. On the Basic Information tab, enter the name of the Rule on the Name field.

  5. On the Recipients and Senders tab under the Recipients section, select the specific domain(s) and/or user you would like to apply the Rule.

  6. On the same tab under the Senders section, select the specific domain(s) and/or user you would like to apply the Blocked Rule.

  7. Go to the Scanning Criteria tab then select No Criteria.

  8. Go to the Actions tab, under the Intercept section, select Delete the entire message.

  9. A pop-up window will appear. Click OK.
