Notable changes in this maintenance

  • Trend Micro Apex One (Mac) Security Agent to support endpoints using the Apple M1 processor will be enabled after the July maintenance schedule.
  • Since both the Apex Central and Apex One servers are hosted and maintain a persistent connection, the Administration > Managed Servers > Agent Communication Schedule menu has been removed to minimize possible misconfiguration issues.
  • The following Event Notifications settings have been disabled to prevent too many unnecessary notifications from being sent to recipients. In Detections > Notifications > Event Notifications > Advanced Threat Activity:
    • C&C callback alert
    • C&C callback outbreak alert
    • Correlated incident detections

Impact during the maintenance period

  • New customers will be unable to prepare their Trend Micro Apex One™ as a Service console during the maintenance period.
  • Existing customers will be unable to change their Trend Micro Apex One™ as a Service policies or settings during the maintenance period.
    • The downtime for each provision is expected to be around three (3) hours within the maintenance period.
    • All endpoints with Apex One and Apex One (Mac) Security Agent installed are still protected during the maintenance period.
