A massive block for the DLL file “msvcr100.dll” was reported causing a number of programs and applications to crash.
Msvcr100.dll is a file included in the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. It is required by many programs to run properly on a Windows computer.
Around 6:00 PM (GMT+8), a number of customers reported that Apex One Application Control blocked the above mentioned DLL file causing Microsoft Office, Adobe and other programs not to execute properly.
Trend Micro released an urgent pattern to rectify the concern. Ensure that the Certified Safe Software Pattern is updated to version 2.898.00.
