Cannot install Trend Micro Mobile Security for Enterprise (TMMS) 9.8 SP5 Critical Patch 3128

Summary

When installing TMMS 9.8 SP5 Critical Patch build 3128, the installation seems to hang. No other issues such as high CPU or memory were observed during installation.

No errors were found in C:\MDMServerSetup.txt log, but appears to stop at creating the website.

To resolve the issue:

  1. When the installation seem to hang (about 30 min or so of no further change), reboot the server.
  2. Run the Critical Patch installer again, and choose Repair.
