Enable Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI) file scan to extend scanning feature in Deep Security or Cloud One - Workload Security

Summary

Enabling AMSI file scan may extend AMSI scan feature to scan file-based content.

 
Take note of the following requirements for this feature:
  • Update the required DSA/DSM 20 and build:
    • DSA: 20.0.0.1681 or above (Windows platform only)
    • DSM: 20.0.222 or above
  • Update Windows platform required:
    • Desktop: Windows 10 or above
    • Server: Windows Server 2016 or above

    To enable the AMSI file scan, execute the following command on Deep Security Manager (DSM) server installation path. The DSM service would restart after the configuration is set.

    dsm_c -action changesetting -name com.trendmicro.ds.antimalware:settings.configuration.enableAMSIFileScan -value true

    Please note that enabling AMSI file scan may cause changes in performance.
     

    To disable AMSI file scan, execute the following command on DSM server installation path. The DSM service would restart after the configuration is set.

    dsm_c -action changesetting -name com.trendmicro.ds.antimalware:settings.configuration.enableAMSIFileScan -value false
