This article discusses how OfficeScan (OSCE) users can confirm that the Update Agent is correctly updating clients once it is set up.
To verify if the Update Agent is correctly updating clients, do either of the following options:
Option I
Check the OfficeScan update logs:
- Open the OfficeScan Management Console.
- Go to Logs > Agents > Agent Component Update.
- Click on View under the Detail column.
Users will see the update information, including the update source.
Option II
Check the tmudump.txt file by opening Windows Explorer and going to\AU_Data\AU_Log folder on the client machine to verify if the updates are successful.
