Unable to access the OfficeScan (OSCE) management console after installing Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

The user is unable to access the OSCE management console after installing Windows Server 2003 SP1 and an HTML syntax appears when trying to access the console.

To resolve the issue, include the URL path of OSCE on the Trusted web sites on the Internet Explorer.
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Click Security and then select Trusted sites.
  4. Click Sites and then type the OSCE server URL:
    https://[servername]:[443or4343]/officescan/console/cgi/cgiChkMasterPwd.exe
  5. Restart the OSCE master service.
  6. Try to access the console.
