This message appeared after you had installed Housecall Server Edition 6.1 on a Microsoft Windows 2003 SP1 server.
It recurs even after you have set the recommended permissions on your Internet Information Services (IIS), as shown in HouseCall Server Edition’s Getting Started Guide.
To fix the issue:
- Install the latest Java components for Microsoft Internet Explorer from the Sun Microsystems Java website.
- Set the correct settings for IIS:
- Open the IIS Manager.
- On the left-hand pane, click HOUSECALL > Web Service Extensions.
- On the right-hand pane, check if the status of Active Server Pages says "Allowed". If it does not, click the Allow button.
- Add a new Web Service Extension:
- Right-click on Web Service Extensions.
- Click the Add a new Web service extension... button to open the New Web Service Extension window.
- In the Extension field, type "Housecall" then click Add > Browse.
- Select these files:
- C:\Program files\Trend Micro\Housecall\hcadmin\webui.exe
- C:\Program files\Trend Micro\Housecall\hcbin\HcAddlog.exe
Afterwards, click OK.
- Right-click on the HOUSECALL virtual folder and then click Properties.
- In the Virtual Directory tab, click Configuration > Options > Enable Parent Paths and then click OK twice.
- Right-click the AUHOUSECALL virtual folder, and then click Properties > Headers > MIME Types.
- Add these entries:
- Extension: .ini
- MimeType: .ini
Afterwards, click OK three times.
- Right-click on the HCBIN virtual folder, then click Properties.
- In the Virtual Directory tab, click Configuration.
- Click Mappings > Add, then specify these items:
- Executable: c:\Program files\Trend Micro\Housecall\hcbin\HcAddlog.exe
- Extension: .exe.
- For the Verbs field, select Limit to and then type "GET, POST".
- Save all of changes and then restart the WWW Publishing Service.
