While installing the MCP agent on a product server, it cannot access the TMCM server. This happens when TMCM's FQDN is used in the Public Key.
You must take note of how you will access the TMCM server, whether it would be by IP or FQDN, so that when you download the Public Key from the TMCM server, the machine where the agent is being installed should be able to access it.
To prevent access problems:
- Go to the %SystemRoot%\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder of the server where the agent will be installed and open the hosts file.
- Add the Control Manager's FQDN to the hosts file.
- Save the file.
- Install the agent.
Also, Port 10319 should be open to allow communication between the Control Manager server and the server where the agent is installed.
