Activating your renewed Hosted Email Security (HES) account

You just purchased a service renewal and would like to know if you should configure anything on the HES/HES - Inbound Filtering console for your renewal to take effect.

An HES/HES - Inbound Filtering account is tied to only one Registration and Activation key.
If you have an existing HES/HES - Inbound Filtering account that has been renewed, do the following to ensure that the renewal is successful:
  1. Go to the Customer Licensing Portal (CLP).
  2. Log in using your HES/HES - Inbound Filtering CLP username and password.
  3. Under My Products/Services, check the Expiration Date and make sure it reflects the correct license end date.
Once you have renewed your HES/HES - Inbound Filtering, the records are updated accordingly. There is no web interface for renewing the activation code from the HES/HES - Inbound Filtering console. The changes are done on the CLP database, so you will not have to do any action other than purchasing the renewal.
