An IP address is re-added to the QIL database if MAPS detects that it shows spam activity again. An IP caught as a spam source is added to the QIL database in real time, and may stay there from five (5) minutes to 12 hours. The duration depends on how frequent it has been added to the database.
To request for an IP address to be removed from the QIL database, go to our Email Reputation Services site.
