Summary
You need to to back up and restore Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) database, if you encounter any of the following:
- Database is corrupt and you need to restore the backup
- Troubleshooting issues or errors
Details
To back up or restore the database and configuration files manually:
Back up the database
Note: By default the Security Server is set to automatically backup client database information weekly. This process copies all database files under : \Program Files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\HTTPDB.
- On the Security Server, stop the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
- Open Task Manager and stop if there are ofcservice.exe and dbserver.exe processes:
- Click Start > Run.
- Type taskmgr.exe.
- Click OK.
- End the ofcservice.exe and dbserver.exe processes.
- Copy the ..\Program Files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\HTTPDB folder to your back up directory.
- Start the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
Restore the database
- On the Security Server, stop the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
- Open Task Manager and stop if there are ofcservice.exe and dbserver.exe processes:
- Click Start > Run.
- Type taskmgr.exe.
- Click OK.
- End the ofcservice.exe and dbserver.exe processes.
- 3. Copy the backup files over the existing database files in the ..\Program Files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\HTTPDB folder.
- Start the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
