Cannot enable TrendProtect toolbar in Internet Explorer in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) 7.0

To resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Registry Editor.
     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  2. Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\TrendProtect\1.0 registry hive.
  3. Look for the "IsDisabledTrendProtect" registry key and change its value to "0".
  4. Close the Registry Editor.
  5. Click on the TrendProtect toolbar and select Enable TrendProtect.

The TrendProtect toolbar will now be enabled.
