How to manually scan selected clients from the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) console

You want to manually scan a single client or some clients only.

This solution also applies to:

  • Client Server Messaging Security for SMB (CSM) 3.x
  • Client Server Security for SMB (CS) 3.x

Please do the following:

    1. Log on to the WFBS console.
    2. Go to Security Settings.
    3. Click Add Group.
    4. Under Group Type, select either Desktops or Servers.
    5. Name the new group "Manual Scan".
    6. Under Settings, check Import settings from group.
    7. Click Save.
    8. Click Security Settings.
    9. Select the group desktop or group server.
    10. Drag the specific client(s) you want to scan and drop it in the "Manual Scan" group.
    11. Go to Scans > Manual Scan.
    12. Select the Manual Scan group.
    13. Click Scan Now.
    14. When the scan is finished, move the client(s) back to its original group.
 
You can also change the advanced scan settings by clicking the Manual Scan group.
