"Unable to locate Activation Code" appears when trying to add a domain in the Hosted Email Security (HES) console

You get the following error in the HES/HES - Inbound Filtering console:

Unable to locate Activation Code. Your AC code may not yet be in the system. Please try again later and, if the problem persists, please contact your regional support."

If you get this error, contact  Trend Micro Technical Support and provide the following information:

  • Account name
  • Primary domain
  • Additional domain
  • Valid email address under the domain/s (for test email)
  • IP address of the additional domain
  • Requestor's name
  • Requestor's email address
  • Copy of the email from the requestor
