Enabling or disabling the URL Filtering in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS)

Summary

Use URL Filtering to block unwanted content from the Internet, and select specific types of websites in WFBS. You can also define business hours and leisure hours when certain websites will be blocked.

To enable URL Filtering:

  1. Log In to the WFBS console.
  2. Click Security Settings.
  3. Select a group, then click Configure Settings.
  4. Click URL Filtering.
  5. Tick Enable URL Filtering check box.
  6. Under Filter Strength section, select the setting you prefer:
    • High - This blocks known or potential security threats, inappropriate or possibly offensive content, that can affect productivity or bandwidth, and unrated pages.
    • Medium - This blocks known security threats and inappropriate content.
    • Low - This blocks known security threats.
    • Custom - You can select your own categories, and whether you want to block the categories during business hours or leisure hours.
  7. Define your business hours.
  8. Modify the list of approved web sites.
  9. Click Save.

To disable URL Filtering:

  1. Log on to WFBS console.
  2. Click Security Settings.
  3. Select a group, then click Configure Settings.
  4. Click URL Filtering.
  5. Untick the Enable URL Filtering check box.
  6. Click Save.
