Hot fix - build 1282 resolves the issue by ensuring that ScanMail does not have issues reading or opening PDF files.

To resolve the issue:

   

1.

Request theWFBS_51_WIN_SMEX_82_EN_HFB1282.exe file from Trend Micro Technical Support.

 

For Premium Support Program (PSP) clients, contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) directly.

  

2.

Make sure that the WFBS console is closed.

  

3.

Copy the hot fix file to a temporary folder on the Messaging Security Agent server.

  

4.

Double-click the file. The message Installation Successful! appears.

  

5.

Update your scan engine and virus pattern files.
