When the issue occurs, you get the following:
Error message: "Not enough server storage is available to process this command."
Also, "Event ID: 2011" shows on the Event logs.
To resolve the issue, increase the value of "IRPStackSize" registry key:
- Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
- Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters registry hive.
- On the right pane, double-click the "IRPStackSize" value. If the "IRPStackSize" value is missing, create the value (DWORD).
- Change the value (Decimal). In Windows 2003 server, the default Decimal value for "IRPStackSize" is "15" and the range is from "11" to "50".
