"Error 1923" appears when installing the Messaging Security Agent (MSA) from a previous version of Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) Advanced 5.0 / 5.1

        Error 1923.Service Trend Micro Messaging Security Agent EUQ Monitor (EUQ_Monitor) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

To resolve the issue, please do the following:

1. Manually uninstall the MSA.

2. Remove "SMEX_Admin" and "SMX_servername".

        a. Click Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers.
   
        b. Select SMEX Admin Group and right-click it, then click Delete.

        c. Select SMX_<Server_Name> and right-click, it then click Delete.
         
3. When the user account is deleted, manually remove the user profile from the server:

        a. On your desktop, select the My Computer icon and right-click it, then click Properties.

        b. On the System Properties window, click the Advanced tab.

         c. Under User Profiles section, click Settings.

        d. Select SMX_<Server_Name> from the list. 

        e. Click Delete.

4. Restart the machine.

5. Install the MSA using the WFBS console.
