Hot Fix Overview

Hot fix - build 1286 resolves the issue by enabling SMEX to release a semaphore when it can not successfully acquire resources.

To resolve the issue:

 

1.

Request the WFBS_51_WIN_SMEX_82_EN_HFB1286.exe file from Trend Micro Technical Support.

 

For Premium Support Program (PSP) clients, contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) directly.

  
  
2.Make sure that the WFBS console is closed before installing this hot fix.
  
  

3.

Copy the hot fix file to a temporary folder.

  
  

4.

Double-click the file to automatically copy the modules to the correct destination.

  
  
5.

Update your scan engine and virus pattern files.
