"Error 505 Service Unavailable" appears when accessing the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) console

You cannot access the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) console on 64-bit Windows 2008 Small Business Server (SBS) Service Pack (SP) 1. This article applies with "Smart Scan Unavailable".

To resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  2. Expand the server name, then click Application Pools.

    Application Pools

  3. On the right pane, click Set Application Pool Defaults.
  4. Under (General) section, change the following settings for .NET Framework Version:

    Enable 32-Bit Applications - False
    Start Automatically - False

  5. Click OK.
  6. Close IIS.
  7. Restart the following:
    • World Wide Web Publishing Service
    • Trend Micro Security Server Master Service
  8. Log on to the WFBS console. You will now be able to open it.
