This article shows you how to enable the shell scan of OSCE. Once enabled, the “Scan with OfficeScan client” option becomes available when you right-click a file or folder.
To enable the shell scan option, do the following:
- Log on to the OfficeScan management console.
- Do the following:
- For OSCE XG: Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings > Agent Control.
- For OSCE 11.0: Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings > Scan Settings.
- For Other versions: Go to Networked Computers > Global Client Settings > Scan Settings.
The "Scan with OfficeScan client" option will now be shown on the menu after doing a right-click on a file or folder.
