Increasing the Active Directory (AD) scope in OfficeScan

Summary

There are many domains in the network but only a few are shown in the Active Directory (AD) Scope screen. When you click on the [+] sign to expand the list of domains, nothing appears.

The default value in the Active Directory scope is 20. You can increase this if the number exceeds the default. To increase the default value, do the following:

  1. On the Officescan Serxver, go to the ...\Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\Private folder and open the ofcserver.ini file.
  2. Edit the following parameter:
    [INI_AD_INTEGRATION_SECTION]
    ManagementScopeExpandQuantity=100
    
  3. Save and close the file.
