Summary

Know if the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) client still runs the Manual Scan or Scheduled Scan triggered from the WFBS console, even when you are not logged on to Windows.

Details
Public

The WFBS client runs a scan even when you are not  logged on to Windows. When a user logs on or off during a scan, the scan will still continue to run. Take note of the following:

  • When you shut down or restart Windows during a scan, the scan will stop. The scan will not restart even after you log on to Windows again.
  • When you log in while a scan is running, WFBS will show the normal client icon and not the "scan in progress" icon. However, this does not mean that the scan has stopped.
