Importing policies and settings from the CDT data package

Summary

When running Case Diagnostic Tool (CDT) to collect CDT data, or exporting debugging files from the product admin WebUI, the policies and settings are exported to a .DAT file and placed into the event2 folder.

You can import the policies and settings using the .DAT file.

To import the policies and settings:

  1. Extract the Config_Files__.dat from the event2 folder of the CDT.
  2. Log on to the product admin WebUI.
  3. Go to Administration > Import/Export and then import the .DAT file extracted in Step 1.
