Resetting the Security Risk Statistics in the OfficeScan (OSCE) server console

Issue

When trying to reset known threats on the Outbreaks widget on the dashboard of the Apex One server, it refuses to perform the action and the "load page failed" error shows up.

Solution

To resolve the issue:

  1. On the Apex One server-side, rename the following file to “summary_top10_osce.htm.bak”.

    Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Apex One\PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web_console\HTML\summary\summary_top10_osce.htm

  2. Download a fresh copy of the file summary_top10_osce.htm here.
  3. Copy the file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Apex One\PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web_console\HTML\summary.
  4. Delete the browser cache to ensure that the webpage will load the updated .htm file.
  5. Retry to reset the widget then verify if the issue is resolved.

To reset the Security Risk counter:

  1. Log on to the OfficeScan console.
  2. Go to the Dashboard page.
  3. Add an Outbreaks widget.
  4. Click View Top 10 Security Risk Statistics in the Outbreak widget.

  5. To reset the statistics in each table, click Reset Count.
