Summary
Exempt certain domains, like aol.com or hotmail.com, from being blocked by Email Reputation Services (ERS). ERS may block emails from your investors and customers who have either AOL or Hotmail accounts.
Details
To determine if an IP is being blocked, you can visit Trend Micro Email Reputation Services. There is an option to request the removal of an IP from the ERS database. However, if ERS confirms that the IP is still sending out spam emails, it will not be removed from the ERS database in order to protect the users.
The only way to bypass or safelist the IPs being blocked by the Reputation filter is to add them to the Approved List in IMSS.
Aol.com and Hotmail.com may have several IPs that you may not know about. In this case, you can safelist the domain if the IP Profiler is enabled. The IP Profiler needs to be active in order for it to resolve the domain names.
To add to the Approved List:
- Log on to the IMSS web console.
- Go to IP Filtering > Approved List, and then enter the domains that you want to be approved.
- Save the changes.
