Changing the domain information in Hosted Email Security (HES) while the domain status is "Adding"

Learn how to modify the information (IP address/domain name/number of seats) that was entered in the HES console, if you are unable to make changes when the domain is in "Adding" state.

Do not do any of the steps below if you already pointed your MX record to HES. If your MX record is already redirected to HES, contact Trend Micro Technical Support to help you with this issue.

To modify information while the domain is in "Adding” state:

  1. Log on to the HES console.

    For HES 1.x version:

    For HES 2.0 version:

  2. Click Domains tab.
  3. Make sure to have one domain that has an "Activated" status.
  4. Select the domain that you want to edit then click Delete.

    Click delete

  5. Add the domain again with the correct information, and then click Add Domain.
