The OfficeScan client users receive the following notification after the upgrade:
To disable the notification, Administrators need to do the following before upgrading the OfficeScan server:
- Log on to the OfficeScan management console.
- Do the following:
- OfficeScan XG: Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings.
- Other versions: Go to Networked Computers > Global Client Settings.
Ask the users to reboot their machines. Otherwise, the OfficeScan client will continue to use the old driver modules. The new drivers installed during the upgrade will not be loaded until the machines are restarted. It is recommended to reboot the machines if any of the following features are enabled:
- OfficeScan firewall
- Web Reputation Service
- Behavior Monitoring
