Use Vulnerability Scanner (TMVS) to detect installed antivirus solutions, search for unprotected computers on the network, and install OfficeScan clients/agents to computers. A vulnerability scan using TMVS checks the presence of security software on host machines and can install the OfficeScan client/agent to unprotected host machines.
To install Officescan client/agent using TMVS:
- Open the Officescan Server's {installation directory}\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\TMVS folder.
- Double-click TMVS.exe.
- Once the Vulnerability Scanner is launched, click Settings.
If you want to automatically install the OfficeScan client/agent:
- Select the Auto-install OfficeScan Client for unprotected computer checkbox.
- Type a user name and a password for a user account on the target computer that has privileges required to install the OfficeScan client/agent.
- Click OK.
If you want to send a log to the OfficeScan server reporting the status and outcome of the remote installation procedure, select the Report log to OfficeScan server checkbox.
