When trying to configure or access the MSA, you get one of the following error messages:
- Reading settings from database is invalid
- Invalid Buffer
To resolve the issue, manually create the MSA database:
- Open a command prompt window and go to $\Trend Micro\Messaging Security Agent\config.
- Run the following commands:
- cscript.exe //E:JavaScript //NoLogo dbDatabaseCreation.js dbconf_conf.xml create
- cscript.exe //E:JavaScript //NoLogo dbDatabaseCreation.js dbconf_report.xml create
- cscript.exe //E:JavaScript //NoLogo dbDatabaseCreation.js dbconf_log.xml create
- Restart the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
