You are not receiving some of your mails. Upon checking the details of an email in the mail tracking logs, you see scan exception errors, but do not know what they mean.
- Scan exception - malformed message format
The mail format is abnormal and cannot be processed by the HES scanner.
- Scan exception - message exceeds maximum size
The message exceeds the global size limit set by HES, which is 50MB.
- Scan exception - too many message recipients
The message exceeds the global recipient limit set by HES, which is 1000 recipients.
- Scan exception - security setting violation with error code 69

- Scan exception - other scanning violation with error code 71
The message exceeds the global limit set by HES where the compression ratio is more than 99%.
- Scan exception - security setting violation with error code 76
The message exceeds the global limit set by HES where the extracted file size of a compressed file is more than 60MB.Note: The 60 MB capacity took effect on November 25, 2011.
- Scan exception - security setting violation with error code 78
The message exceeds the global limit set by HES where the total number of embedded layers in a compressed file is more than 20 layers.
