Summary
The Normal Servers running ServerProtect for Novell Netware fail to update their components. The following errors appear in the logs seen in the management console for these outdated servers:
Engine update error. Return code 20110013,PTN:6.233.00,ENG:8.700-1004
Pattern update error. Return code 20110013,PTN:6.233.00,ENG:8.700-1004
Pattern update error. Return code 20110013,PTN:6.233.00,ENG:8.700-1004
Some of the servers that fail to update have had NetWare abends on Iprotect.nlm.
Details
To resolve this issue:
- Apply Patch 1 for ServerProtect 5.8.
- Apply Hot Fix 1258 after deploying Patch 1.
Note: You can obtain a copy of this hot fix from Trend Micro Technical Support or from your Technical Account Manager (TAM).
- Deploy the pattern file by logging in to the management console and going to Update > Deploy Now > Deploy.
The pattern file and engine should update successfully on the ServerProtect Novell Netware servers after 30 minutes.
