Setting up folders to sync with your Trend Micro SafeSync online storage on a Mac computer

To synchronize the folders, follow the steps below:
  1. Click the Trend Micro SafeSync icon on the Finder bar, and then select Configuration and Status.

  2. Click Folders when the Trend Micro SafeSync’s main console appears.
    Click Folders
  3. On the Folders tab, there are two types of pairings: Standard and Custom. To set pairings for your folders, follow the steps for the type you wish to use:
    • Standard Pairings
      Tick the folder you want to synchronize with your Trend Micro SafeSync storage space. This will be done automatically.
      Standard Pairings
    • Custom Pairings
      1. Click + to synchronize specific folders other than the default in Standard Pairing.
        Click +
      2. Select a folder on your computer that you want to sync, and then click Choose.
        Click Choose
      3. Select a folder on your online storage that you want to synchronize with, and then click Choose.
        Click Choose
      4. Click New Folder to create a folder for this pairing, and then type the name of the folder on the field provided.
      5. Click Create, and then click Choose.
        Click Create, and then click ChooseThe new custom paired folder will now appear under Custom Pairings.
