Users can configure Firefox to permanently trust a Certificate Authority (CA) for specified sites, such as all the InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA) Certificate Authorities. Firefox will still prompt users to trust other certificates when they access new HTTPS sites.
To configure Firefox:
- Log in to the IWSVA web console, and then select HTTP > HTTPS Decryption > Settings > Certificate Authority > Get Public CA Key.
Example: The export CA name is “get_current_ca_cert.cer” - Go to the Firefox menu Options > Advanced > View Certificates > Authorities > Import.
- Select get_current_ca_cert.cer to import and then select all the options.
- Restart Firefox to see whether this browser will trust all the Trend Micro Certificate Authorities.
