Having to manually recreate each account and role on every OfficeScan server will be time consuming. Learn the procedure on how to automatically copy the User Accounts and Roles from one OfficeScan console to another.
To copy the user accounts and roles, do the following:
- Copy the following files from the\PCCSRV\Private\Authorstore folder of server A:
- Stop the OfficeScan Master service on server B.
- Back up the TrendAuth.xml and TrendAuthDef.xml files in the\PCCSRV\Private\Authorstore folder of server B.
- Paste the TrendAuth.xml and TrendAuthDef.xml files from server A to the folder location in server B.
- Start the OfficeScan Master service.
- Verify that the user accounts are now present in the OfficeScan console.
