Summary
Configure the proxy settings in the OfficeScan server. This is useful when the server cannot update from Trend Micro Active Update because of the proxy settings needed to access the Internet.
Details
Do the following:
- Log in to the OfficeScan management console.
- Go to Administration > Proxy Settings.
The Proxy Settings page displays the current proxy settings for both the OfficeScan server and the Smart Scan server.If there is no proxy, the use a proxy… check box will not be selected. To add proxy settings, select the use a proxy…check box. To change existing proxy settings, enter the new information and click Save.Intranet communications do not normally require a proxy server. Change the intranet proxy settings only if your network requires it.If HTTP communication between the OfficeScan clients and the OfficeScan server uses a proxy, you need to enter the following information in the Intranet Proxy Settings:
- Proxy server
- Port
- Login name or user ID
- Password
- Input the appropriate settings based on your proxy server configuration.
- Click Save.
