"Error: 629 The connection closed by the remote computer" appears when trying to connect through VPN after upgrading to Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) 7.0

Summary
After upgrading to WFBS 7.0, you cannot connect the computers via VPN. Instead, you get the error below:
VPN Connection Problem: Error: 629 The connection closed by the remote computer

To resolve the issue, do the following:
  1. Make sure that you have installed WFBS Critical Patch Build 1396. Refer to this article: WFBS 7.0 Critical Patch Build 1396.
  2. Restart the computer where you installed the Security Agent.
If the issue still occurs, contact Trend Micro Technical Support and provide the Case Diagnostic Tool (CDT) log generated on the client computer.
