"Error code: 1000-100-WE901" appears when trying to log on to the Hosted Email Security (HES) console

You cannot log on to the HES console. Instead, you get the following error:

Error code 1000-100-WE901

Unable to authenticate logon credentials. Please try again later. If problem persists, contact your support provider and mention error code: 1000-100-WE901.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Log on to the Customer Licensing Portal (CLP) with your current credentials.
  2. Change the CLP account password to consist of 4-20 alphanumeric characters.
  3. After changing the password, verify that you are are able to successfully log in to the HES console using your CLP credentials.
