To resolve this issue, use ntdsutil.exe to modify the MaxPageSize to be greater than the number of objects in the container being viewed.
Follow the Microsoft article How to view and set LDAP policy in Active Directory by using Ntdsutil.exe to change this value:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ntdsutil
ntdsutil: ldap policies
ldap policy: connections
server connections: connect to server demo.local
Binding to demo.local ...
